WIFI station mode

Step 1: Insert the wireless adapter into LeMaker Guitar usb interface.
Step 2: Download rt2l8192cufw_TSMC.bin file.Move rtll8192cufw_TSMC.bin to the /lib/firmware/rtlwifi directory then restart.
NOTE: On V1601 or newer released image, this firmware has already included in the system, so you can skip this step.

sudo wget http://mirror.lemaker.org/RTL8192CUS_Firmware.7z
7z e  RTL8192CUS_Firmware.7z
sudo mkdir -p /lib/firmware/rtlwifi
sudo mv rtl8192cufw_TMSC.bin /lib/firmware/rtlwifi/
sudo reboot

Step 3: Use the command below to check the WIFI module which has been loaded on,and it shows the wlan2 on my LeMaker Guitar.Different devices may display various.

ifconfig -a

Step 4: Edit the /etc/network/interfaces file like this:

allow-hotplug wlanX #X maybe 0.1.2.....
iface wlanX inet manual 
wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
iface default inet dhcp

Please modify wlanx according to the actual situation.

Step 5: Config /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf file

sudo vim /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplrun/wpa_supplicant 
GROUP=netdev update_config=1

Step 6: Edit /etc/group
Add user lemaker to the group netdev, like this:

netdev:x:108:lemaker

Step 7: Restart network

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

And then you can refer to http://wiki.lemaker.org/LeMaker_Guitar:WiFi_configuration#Lemuntu to configure WIFI with wpa_gui.

WIFI AP mode

Step 1: Download udhcp

apt-get install udhcpd

Step 2: Edit /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf file

sudo apt-get install vim 
sudo vim /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
interface=wlanx # x maybe 0.1.2...

ssid=WIFI_ap_test
channel=6

rsn_pairwise=CCMP

ssid is WIFI name and wpa_passphrase is password name.
Step 3: Config /etc/udhcpd.conf

sudo vim /etc/udhcpd.conf

end      192.168.100.254   #default: 192.168.0.254
#The interface that udhcpd will use

Step 4: Execute the following command after reboot.
Enable udhcp service

udhcpd /etc/udhcpd.conf

Run hostapd

hostapd –B /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf

Now check whether your wifi hotspot can be shared with other devices or not.(The wifi name is WIFI_ap_test at here)
