Instruction

Because we have different SBC products, such Banana Pro/Pi, LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B, LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B Plus and etc.. The LVDS pin definition is a little different, so when we use the LeMaker official 7 inch LCD module on the SBC different boards, we need to identify the hardware combinations we are using in the first place.
How to identify the different SBC boards, please refer the pictures in [1]

Identify the hardware combinations

Different 7 LCD modules

Please look at the footprint on the adapter board of the 7/10.1 inch LCD module to identify the version of the 7 inch LCD module.
There are two different version 7inch LCD module:

* BL070-LVDS-002
* BL070-LVDS-003

10.1 LCD modules

The 10.1 inch LCD have only one version: BL101-LVDS-003, using it just like BL070-LVDS-003.

Small Adapter Board

In the latest 7 inch or 10.1 inch LCD module package box, there are a small adapter board, it will be used for some special hardware combinations (7/10.1 inch_LCD_Module_Instruction#Different_hardware_combinations).

NOTE!!!! VERY IMPORTANT:
CON1: Connect a short FPC cable.
CON2: Connect a long FPC cable.

Different SBC boards

The 7inch LCD modules can be used for the SBC boards below:

* Banana Pro
* Banana Pi
* LeMaker Base Board Rev.B
* LeMaker Base Board Rev.B v1.3
* LeMaker Base Board Rev.B plus
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.C

How to identify the different SBC boards version

The Banana Pro/Pi is very easy to identify, but the LeMaker Guitar Base Board is not easy to identify.
Below we show 3 different version LeMaker Guitar Base Boards:

Different hardware combinations

Group A combination: (Connections [2])

* Banana Pi + BL070-LVDS-002
* Banana Pro + BL070-LVDS-002
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B + BL070-LVDS-002

Group B combination: (Connections [3])

* Banana Pi + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003
* Banana Pro + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003

Group C combination: (Connections [4])

* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B v1.3 + BL070-LVDS-002
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B Plus + BL070-LVDS-002
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.C + BL070-LVDS-002

Group D combination: (Connections [5])

* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B v1.3 + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.B Plus + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003
* LeMaker Guitar Base Board Rev.C + BL070-LVDS-003 or BL101-LVDS-003

For "Group A combination" and "Group D combination", we do not need the small adapter board between LCD module and SBC boards.
For "Group B combination" and "Group C combination", we must use the small adapter board between LCD module and SBC boards.

Hardware connections

Group A combination hardware connections

For "Group A combination", we just use the long FPC cable to connect the LCD module and SBC boards directly, like below:

Group B combination hardware connections

For "Group B combination", we need connect the SBC boards to the small adapter board through the short FPC cable, and then connect the small adapter board to the LCD module through the long FPC cable, like below:

Group C combination hardware connections

For "Group C combination", we need connect the SBC boards to the small adapter board through the long FPC cable, and then connect the small adapter board to the LCD module through the short FPC cable, like below:

Group D combination hardware connections

For "Group D combination", we just use the long FPC cable to connect the LCD module and SBC boards directly, like Group A combination.
